Filming / Photography
What We Do
Upon your engagement with Time Flize:
We will research the proximity of the subject you require filming in order to establish what (if any) restrictions to flight may exist (e.g. prohibited flight zones, proximity to airfields or airports / military or government infrastructure or any other factors that affect flight.) Most restrictions can be overcome. We will also ensure that any relevant ‘permissions’ are applied for.
We will also undertake a remote ‘risk assessment’ and where necessary a pre-flight site visit to eliminate or mitigate non-obvious hazards.
There is a substantial amount of work required ahead of any flight, and this is reflected in the requirement for part payment for services before a flight occurs.
Some jobs can be achieved with the use of an extendable (10m) camera pole utilising the cameras from the aircraft. If suitable, most if not all restrictions are eliminated.
Where domestic or commercial neighbours are within the flight zone, we will communicate with those affected to advise of the flight and deal with any issues that arise (usually based upon concerns of privacy).
You can expect us to maintain contact with you as our client so as to keep you updated regarding the progress of the pre-flight planning process.
We will also contact you the evening before the planned date of flight with a go/no-go decision based on the weather forecast.
